Dancing skeleton coloring page

A dancing skeleton is caught mid-step, one leg kicked up, both arms flung out and a grin as wide as the skull, alone on a white page. Every bone is drawn, ribs, fingers, toes, and that is where the work is: a skeleton is white, so the color has to come from somewhere else, the background, a shadow, or the joints picked out in a second shade. The idea of skeletons dancing is old; it was Disney's first Silly Symphony in 1929, called The Skeleton Dance, and this one is clearly in that mood rather than a scary one. How to color Dancing skeleton

1. Leave the bones white or a very pale cream, and go over the outlines in grey so they stay separate.
2. Fill the eye sockets and the gaps between the ribs in black so the skeleton reads at a distance.
3. A strong background color, purple or orange, does the rest.
