Charmander stands beside a campfire in the woods, its own tail flame lit, with trees on both sides, leaves drifting down and grass and pebbles around the fire. Two fires on one page, the campfire and the tail, and they take the same colors, yellow inside, orange out. Charmander is orange with a cream belly, and in the games it is one of the three starters a new trainer chooses from, alongside Bulbasaur and Squirtle; its tail flame is said to go out only if it is very weak, so keep it bright. How to color Charmander at the campfire
- Orange for Charmander with the belly in cream, and yellow at the heart of both flames.
- Brown for the logs and the tree trunks, green for the grass and leaves.
- Leave the falling leaves in yellow and orange for an autumn wood, or all green for summer.
